This 5-hour-per-day role involves collaborating with teachers to develop potential in both group and individual students. Key Responsibilities:
• Work with teachers to support student learning
• Provide individual and group assistance in programs
• Serve as an advocate for student needs
• Collaborate within a school-based team
• Support students with intellectual and behavioral challenges
Requirements:
• Dogwood Certificate or equivalent Grade 12 completion
• Education Assistant Certificate is required
• Hold a Class 5 BC driver’s license with a clean history
• 6 months of relevant experience with youth and children
• WHMIS 2015 certification and knowledge of safety protocols
