We are seeking an experienced and committed PYP teacher along with a PYP Coordinator/PYP Lead to join our growing international school.
Both roles are within a small, developing IB World School and is ideally suited to a candidate who enjoys working in a close-knit team, is adaptable, and is motivated by the opportunity to shape and grow a programme from its current stage of development.
PYP Teacher – The Role
We are looking for an inspiring educator to facilitate inquiry-based learning and guide students through our transdisciplinary Programme of Inquiry. You will create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student agency and holistic child development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver inquiry-driven units of work within the IB PYP framework.
- Assess and track student progress, providing actionable feedback to enhance learning.
- Collaborate closely with co-teachers and the wider PYP team.
- Foster strong, positive communication with parents and the wider school community.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field
- Recognized teaching qualification/certification – TESOL/TEFL NOT accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Prior experience or strong familiarity with the IB PYP curriculum (or IPC)
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
PYP Lead – The Role
The successful candidate will lead the ongoing development of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), working closely with the Head of School and teaching team to strengthen curriculum planning, assessment, and the delivery of high-quality, inquiry-based learning. In a smaller school environment, the role will be both strategic and operational, requiring a hands-on approach and a willingness to contribute across multiple areas of school life.
You will support and coach teachers, build confidence in IB pedagogy, and help establish consistent, sustainable systems that underpin effective teaching and learning. Experience of IB authorisation or developing programmes in growing schools would be a distinct advantage.
We are looking for a reflective and proactive practitioner with strong interpersonal skills who is comfortable working with a degree of flexibility and understands the opportunities and challenges of a developing school context.

Requirements:
· IB PYP experience (essential)
· Previous leadership or coordination experience preferred
· Recognised degree/teaching qualification – TESOL/TEFL are not accepted
· Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning
· Flexible and collaborative approach
· Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
Additional Information:
· Teaching responsibilities will form part of the role, with a reduced timetable to support leadership duties
