Position Opening August 2026
Full-time (187 Days); Family Benefits; State Pension (PSERS)
REQUIREMENTS
Teacher Instructional Certification in Technology Education 6075, or CTE Instructional Certification in Graphic Occupations 2076, or the ability to obtain certification.
Candidates without a Technology Education certification must provide proof of a minimum of 4 years’ trade experience in all phases of Graphic Communication including:
- Commercial and industrial visual image and print products using mechanical, electronic and digital graphic and printing equipment
- Desktop publishing, layout, composition, presswork, and bindery
- Photography, flexography, lithography, photoengraving, and other graphic arts techniques
- Ink and color preparation and dynamics
- Airbrush and screen-printing production
- Support students in all aspects of production in a live print shop
Good human relations and written/verbal communication skills required.
Ability to relate well with young people in a supportive role.
Working knowledge of computer applications.
Eligible to obtain PDE-related Act 34, Act 151 and FBI clearances.
Must pass a physical and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Prior teaching and/or supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
- Supervisory experience
