Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership & Excellence

· Provide visionary leadership to achieve academic excellence and holistic development of students.

· Develop and implement effective academic strategies aligned with CBSE curriculum guidelines.

· Monitor teaching-learning processes, lesson planning, assessments, and academic outcomes.

· Ensure implementation of innovative teaching methodologies, experiential learning, and technology-enabled education.

· Review academic performance data and implement improvement plans.

· Ensure effective preparation of students for board examinations and competitive assessments.

2. CBSE Compliance & School Governance

· Ensure adherence to all CBSE affiliation norms, policies, and guidelines.

· Maintain required documentation, records, and statutory compliances.

· Coordinate CBSE inspections, audits, and accreditation-related activities.

· Ensure implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 initiatives.

· Maintain high standards of discipline, safety, and child protection policies.

3. Staff Management & Development

· Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding of teaching and non-teaching staff in coordination with HR.

· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.

· Develop teacher training and professional development programs.

· Ensure effective workload distribution, timetable planning, and resource utilization.

· Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

4. Student Development & Discipline

· Create a safe, inclusive, and student-centric learning environment.

· Monitor student discipline, attendance, behaviour, and overall wellbeing.

· Promote co-curricular activities, sports, leadership programs, and life skills education.

· Encourage student participation in competitions, Olympiads, and achievement-oriented activities.

· Establish mentoring and counselling systems for student support.

5. Admissions & School Growth

· Support management in achieving admission and revenue targets.

· Develop strategies for student enrolment growth and retention.

· Collaborate with the Marketing and Admissions team for school branding initiatives.

· Build strong relationships with parents and enhance parent satisfaction.

· Conduct parent interactions, orientations, and feedback sessions.

6. Administration & Operations Management

· Oversee day-to-day school operations for smooth functioning.

· Ensure effective utilization of infrastructure, facilities, and resources.

· Coordinate with administrative teams for transport, safety, security, and maintenance.

· Prepare and manage academic calendars, schedules, and school events.

· Ensure timely completion of reports and MIS requirements.

7. Parent & Stakeholder Engagement

· Develop positive relationships with parents, students, staff, and external stakeholders.

· Address parent concerns effectively and ensure timely resolution.

· Represent the school at professional forums and educational events.

· Promote the school's vision, values, and achievements.

8. Financial & Resource Management

· Support budgeting and resource planning activities.

· Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and resources.

· Monitor cost-effective implementation of academic and operational initiatives.

9. School Branding & Reputation Building

· Enhance the school's reputation through academic achievements and innovative initiatives.

· Promote success stories, student achievements, and institutional milestones.

· Support marketing activities to strengthen the school's presence.

Qualification and Experience

 Educational Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in any discipline with B.Ed. (mandatory).
  • Candidates with M.Ed./Educational Leadership qualifications will be preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in teaching and academic administration.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as Principal in a reputed CBSE school.
  • Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, policies, and accreditation requirements.
