The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers and Tutors for local, in-person tuition. We have high demand for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 support, with a specific focus on 11+ preparation for local grammar and private schools.
We respect your expertise. We discuss your rate expectations upfront, agree on a total client fee that includes our agency percentage, and ensure your target take-home rate is met.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, in-person 1-to-1 primary tuition.
- Prepare students for local grammar and private school 11+ entrance exams.
- Teach targeted exam techniques, verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English, and Maths.
- Assess learning gaps and build customized session plans.
- Provide brief, encouraging progress updates to parents.
Requirements & Availability
- Availability: Able to work peak hours (after school, evenings, or weekends).
- Capacity: Ideally looking for tutors with at least 4 spare hours per week to take on multiple students.
- Experience: Strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum and local 11+ exam formats.
- Travel: Ability to travel to families locally for face-to-face sessions.
- Background Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Professional Integrity: As a freelance network, we rely on mutual trust, honesty, and clear communication regarding student bookings and commission forwarding.
