GEMS- BISM (British International School of Madinaty) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Primary Teacher for Key Stage 2 (KS2) to join our team for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with the British Curriculum for KS2 students
- Differentiating teaching approaches to meet the varying needs of learners
- Monitor and assess students' progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes
- Participate actively in curriculum development, staff meetings, and professional development
- Ensure compliance with school policies, especially safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Engage in extracurricular activities to support the wider school community
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching KS2, preferably within the British Curriculum
- Strong classroom management and organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural school environment
- Passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal development
- Willingness to relocate to Cairo, Egypt
