About Aprendizes
Located in Cascais, Portugal, Aprendizes is an independent school for students aged 3 to 18, guided by our vision, “Together, we Educate for Change.” We offer a bilingual, student-centered, and active learning approach, connecting education to real-world challenges. Our campus, near the Sintra National Park and Guincho Beach, reflects our strong commitment to sustainability. We teach the Portuguese National Curriculum from preschool to Grade 4 and the Cambridge International Curriculum from Grades 5 to 12. Our diverse community includes around 600 students, 130 staff members, and families from over 40 nationalities.
The Role
We are seeking a Primary Co-Teacher who will work in close partnership with the Head Teacher while acting as the Lead Teacher for English. You will support teaching and learning across subjects and take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing English instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-teach and collaborate closely with the Head Teacher
- Lead the planning and delivery of English lessons
- Support teaching in Math and Sciences
- Use active, inquiry-based, and project-based learning
- Connect learning to real-world contexts
- Integrate technology into teaching
- Support projects, workshops, and interdisciplinary initiatives
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:
