Full time PERMANENT Primary/Elementary Classroom Teacher, effective September 2, 2025. The successful candidate is committed to furthering student success in an inclusive, safe, and caring environment. A “students first” philosophy and collaboration are key to growth as an educator.
Duties

Evidence-based Decision Making; and Teachers as Learners.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Engage professionally with colleagues, families and communities.
- Demonstrate planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices.
- Provide evidence of how to shape a safe and positive learning environment for students and families.
- Demonstrate a love of learning and an ability to build learner and leadership capacity.
- Provide evidence and understanding of the impact of effective assessment practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education
- Appropriate Training Methods
- Equivalencies may be considered
Annual Teacher Salary Scale is contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits are included in the agreement. Applicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement.
