Duties
As a full‑time classroom teacher, you will create an inclusive, safe, and caring learning environment and apply the 7 Determinants of the School Development Model:
Wellness and Positive Relationships;
Optimal Learning Environments;
Instructional Practice;
Assessment Practices;
Collective Efficacy;
Evidence‑Based Decision Making; and Teachers as Learners.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Plan and implement effective and responsive teaching and learning practices
- Provide evidence of shaping a safe and positive learning environment for students and families
- Demonstrate a love of learning and ability to build learner and leadership capacity

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education
- Appropriate Training Methods
- Equivalencies may be considered
Annual Teacher Salary Scale and benefits are contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement.
Applicants without required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement.
