Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curriculum and engaging activities that promote learning through play. The Preschool Teacher will also collaborate with parents and staff to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and address any challenges effectively.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor children’s progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students.
Provide early intervention support for children who may need additional assistance in their learning journey.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe learning space.
Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
P-3 Certification is required.
Experience in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
Ability to engage children in math concepts through fun, interactive activities.
Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
