Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Preschool Teacher role based in Singapore. The Preschool Teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Responsibilities include preparing daily and weekly lesson plans, implementing the school’s curriculum, and creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. The teacher will observe and document children’s progress, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and classroom management. Additional duties include organizing classroom materials, supporting school events and celebrations, and upholding the preschool’s values-based approach in all interactions with children.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and experience working with preschool or Kindergarten-aged children.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, with the ability to design engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.
- Recognized early childhood teaching qualification or diploma; relevant certifications in early childhood or education are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to create a safe, inclusive, and values-based classroom environment that promotes kindness, mindfulness, and gratitude.
- Patience, adaptability, and strong classroom management skills, with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
