Summary
We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Stacey’s Fun in the Sun Pre-School. In this role, you will create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning through play, helping children develop essential skills as they grow. This position is vital in supporting our mission to provide quality care and education.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage exploration and learning.
Foster a positive classroom environment where children feel safe and supported.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
Engage with parents regularly to discuss their child’s progress and encourage involvement in the program.
Assess children’s developmental progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Create a stimulating learning environment using various educational materials and resources.
Requirements
Experience working with preschool-aged children is essential but we will train a motivated candidate.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
A strong work ethic is essential.
No personal drama brought to the workplace is mandatory.
