Position Summary
Our client, a Japanese Preschool is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join its collaborative early childhood education team. The school offers a Montessori-inspired curriculum that integrates play-based learning, nature exploration, and Japanese language immersion. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about supporting young children's growth in a nurturing and culturally enriching environment.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Instruction & Student Development
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool-aged children.
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Incorporate early childhood education best practices into daily teaching activities.
- Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and educational programs.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to the school's learning environment.
Professional Development
- Stay current with best practices and developments in early childhood education.
- Apply new teaching strategies and educational methods in the classroom.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children required.
- Minimum 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
