Summary
We are seeking a passionate Educator to join our team at Ivybrook Academy. In this role, you will create an engaging learning environment that nurtures each child’s (ages 18 months to 6 years) unique strengths while implementing our innovative curriculum. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the educational experiences of our preschoolers.
Responsibilities
- Establish a safe, nurturing, and inclusive preschool environment for students and families.
- Collaborate professionally with staff and families to support student growth.
- Maintain ongoing communication with families regarding student progress.
- Develop and maintain individual student portfolios.
- Implement student assessments using proprietary materials and documented observations.
- Attend meetings, professional development sessions, and school functions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, families, and the community.
Requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- An engaging teaching style that is both empathetic and effective.
- Ability to foster an inclusive classroom community that values respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.
- Strong classroom management skills to maximize learning opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience in an early childhood education setting required.

Job Requirements:
- Priority given to candidates with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a public, private, or licensed school setting is preferred.
- All our educators must meet the requirements set forth in the Licensing Rules for Child Care Centers for the position which they will fulfill.
