Position Overview: The Pre-School Early Childhood Unified Teacher creates a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3 to 5. The role involves designing and implementing curricula that cater to individual learning needs- including those of children with special needs. This teacher will foster positive relationships with students- families and colleagues- and participate in ongoing professional development.

Creation and maintenance of a safe and stimulating classroom environment

Potential extended school year (ESY) assignment

Qualifications
Current Kansas Teaching License with Early Childhood Unified Certificate or willingness to work towards the Unified Endorsement
Knowledge of IEP process
A positive and supportive demeanor
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of child development
Commitment to professional growth
