Eligibility
This posting is open to Teachers on the Occasional Teachers list currently employed by Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board and external applicants. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for OECTA to qualified occasional teachers.
Salary Range
The salary of a teacher shall be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement according to QECO rating and years of experience. Effective September 1, 2025 teacher salaries will range from $56,288.00 to $ (based on a 1.0
FTE)

Qualifications
- Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
- Division Specific Qualifications
- Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate AND Drama, Music or Arts Qualifications
- Oral and written English language proficiency required

- Pastoral Reference or Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate and Personal Letter of Faith

As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must provide a Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check current within six months of hire.
Notes
This position is open to Occasional Teachers currently employed by ALCDSB who have completed a minimum of one LTO assignment of at least four months, with a satisfactory last evaluation. The board may interview a teacher employed as a permanent teacher elsewhere in the province. Articles 17.6 and 17.7 apply.
