BCIT is actively seeking a Faculty Instructor for its Power Engineering programs, both in-person and via distance education. Ideal candidates will have a First Class Standardized Power Engineer certification, accompanied by a minimum of five years’ progressive industry experience. This role involves preparing lectures, laboratory projects, and course materials while engaging with key industry players across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures and hands-on training in Power Engineering
• Develop and upgrade learning materials for various courses
• Provide online course instruction and support
• Collaborate with industries for tailored training programs
• Complete other assigned teaching-related duties
Requirements:
• First Class Standardized Power Engineer certification required
• Minimum five years of relevant industrial experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in oil and gas, power generation, or similar fields
