About the Role

You'll plan and deliver engaging, inclusive Physical Education across multiple year levels, adapting your approach for a diverse student cohort. The school is seeking someone who can combine warmth with firm, consistent boundaries, underpinned by strong behaviour management and a trauma-informed lens (Berry Street experience highly regarded). You'll work within a supportive specialist environment and contribute to the ongoing development of PE and wellbeing programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Primary and Secondary school
  • Establish clear routines and consistent expectations to support positive behaviour
  • Differentiate learning to engage students with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Use trauma-informed strategies to create safe, inclusive learning environments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen specialist programs and student engagement
  • Build strong relationships with students, families and staff to support positive outcomes

You Will Have

  • Current or pending VIT registration
  • Teritary qualifications in Education
  • Experience teaching PE (primary and/or secondary), with confidence across a varied load
  • Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Experience with the Berry Street Model highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
