Role Description The Physical Education Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The teacher will plan and deliver physical education classes that promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship, aligned with the school’s curriculum and values. Daily responsibilities include organizing sports activities, coaching students in various games, conducting fitness assessments, and ensuring the safe use of equipment and facilities. The role also involves developing training schedules, preparing students for competitions, maintaining records of student progress, and collaborating with other teachers and school leadership to support overall student well-being.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Education and Sports Coaching.
- Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Education.
- Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and classroom management.
- Relevant degree or certification in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a residential or mission-driven school environment.
