We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Pharmacy Assistant Tutor to join the faculty at Medbuddy Academy.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical instruction to the next generation of pharmacy professionals. You will guide students through structured modules covering everything from pharmaceutical calculations and medication safety to dispensing workflows and pharmacy law. 📍 Location: Lagos Mainland (Hybrid Role)
🎯 Core Goal: To facilitate comprehensive learning through live classes, practical simulations, and competency assessments that align with Medbuddy’s 13-week curriculum.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Delivery: Lead lectures on core topics including pharmacology fundamentals, prescription interpretation, and pharmacy ethics.
- Practical Training: Supervise simulation-based exercises that replicate real-world pharmacy operations and inventory management.
- Student Assessment: Design and administer quizzes and practical exams to evaluate competency in dosage calculations and dispensing procedures.
- Curriculum Implementation: Ensure all learning objectives for the Pharmacy Assistant program are achieved while recommending content improvements based on industry trends.
- Mentorship: Provide academic support and guidance on professional conduct within healthcare environments.
- Content Development: Support the creation of lecture slides, case studies, and pre-recorded learning materials.
📂 What We Are Looking For:
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or a related healthcare field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical experience in community or hospital pharmacy settings.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of medication management and proficiency with digital teaching tools like Zoom and LMS platforms.
- Communication: Excellent presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex pharmaceutical concepts for learners.
