Job Summary
The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English is responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered instruction in English language and literature to senior secondary students. The role focuses on developing students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills while ensuring alignment with the prescribed curriculum and school standards. The teacher will contribute to students' academic excellence and overall personality development.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities

Plan and deliver effective English lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.

Teach English language, literature, grammar, writing skills, and communication techniques.

Develop annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.

Prepare and administer assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations.

Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Classroom Management

Requirements
Qualifications

Master's Degree in English (M.A. English) from a recognized university.

B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution (mandatory).

Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferred).

Experience teaching Gujarat Board (English Medium) curriculum is preferred.
