The YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is hiring part-time educators and site supervisors for multiple locations in the Windsor Essex region. This role focuses on planning child-centered programs and providing compassionate care while embracing diversity and inclusion. You will work Monday through Friday, aligning with the elementary school calendar, and may have opportunities for additional shifts during PD days or breaks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute engaging programs for children ages 4-12
• Ensure safety and supervision of children at all times
• Support and communicate effectively with families and children
• Uphold the YMCA policies, provincial laws, and core values
• Promote a sense of belonging and inclusivity
Requirements:
• Experience with children in a relevant setting
• Enrolled in or hold a diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Minimum age of 18 with a Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
