Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and teach classes in accordance with Julia Gabriel Centre’s methodology and Reading & Writing programme requirements
- Provide high quality, interactive and engaging literacy lessons
- Adopt positive guidance techniques and strategies at all times
- Communicate with parents and provide constructive feedback in line with the programmes’ requirements
- Attend in-house training sessions provided for curriculum related matters and professional development
- Support curriculum work, research, talks, workshops as required during non- teaching hours
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, Education, English, English Literature/ Linguistics or NIE teacher qualifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching Primary levels and/or preschool levels preferred.
- Fresh English graduates with internship experience will be considered
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, good team player
- Good communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills
- Enjoy working with children from ages 3 to 6 years old
