St. Timothy’s School, an Episcopal preparatory school in Raleigh, NC, with approximately 585 students in grades pre-K to 8, is seeking dedicated Lower Elementary School Teaching Assistants (K-2nd) for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. In this part-time role, the teaching assistants will work with lead teachers and their students, playing a pivotal role in fostering a stable, nurturing, and caring learning environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation and classroom setup, while providing the consistent support necessary for our youngest learners to flourish both academically and socially.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.

- Exhibit a collaborative spirit, with the ability to work collegially alongside faculty, staff, and parents.
The most competitive candidates will meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant academic discipline.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a primary school or preschool setting.
