Position: Part-Time Early Childhood Educator Role
Little Saints Childcare Centre is seeking a part-time Certified Early Childhood Educator in Trail, BC.
Your role will focus on providing enriching and age-appropriate experiences for preschool children.
You will work three days a week, implementing quality childcare programs for children aged 2.5 to 5 years hael’s Catholic Elementary School. This role is vital in fostering a positive and creative atmosphere aligned with Catholic teachings. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you’ll engage with children and families to build lasting relationships and provide support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute engaging, child-centered programs
• Keep activity spaces neat and organized
• Uphold provincial safety and supervision standards
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy in interactions
• Share best practices with colleagues
Requirements:
• Current Early Childhood Educators License
• Active involvement in a Catholic parish community
• Commitment to principles of Catholic Education
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently under minimal guidance
