Position Overview
We are looking for passionate and experienced Chemistry and Biology Tutors to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE, O/L, AS, A2, and International A-Level (IAL) students, helping them excel in examinations and develop strong subject mastery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons in Chemistry and Biology according to Cambridge and Edexcel syllabi.
- Prepare students for IGCSE, O/L, AS, A2, and IAL examinations with a focus on conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and exam techniques.
- Create and share lesson plans, teaching resources, and practice assessments.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Conduct both classroom-based and online lessons as required.
- Participate in academic meetings and training sessions to ensure teaching quality and consistency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology and/or a related discipline (mandatory).
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Minimum1 year of proven teaching or tutoring experience in Cambridge and/or Edexcel Physics and/or Mathematics.
- Strong knowledge of IGCSE, O/L, AS, A2, and IAL syllabi and assessment methods.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage, motivate, and adapt teaching to different learning needs.
- Experience in online teaching tools and methods (preferred).
