Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online Tutor. As an Online Tutor, your primary responsibilities will include delivering engaging and effective virtual lessons to students across a range of education levels and subjects such as primary and secondary school curriculums, competitive exam preparation, degree/professional courses, and languages. You will prepare lesson plans, assess student progress, and tailor teaching methods to meet the specific needs of the learners. Additionally, you will provide support with doubts, ensure timely feedback, and adapt your instruction to align with the respective syllabus or learning objectives.
Qualifications
- Subject expertise in one or more areas such as Mathematics, Science, Languages, Engineering, Commerce, or Competitive Exam preparation (IIT, NEET, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for delivering virtual lessons
- Experience in creating lesson plans, providing constructive feedback, and adapting instructional methods
- Familiarity with various curricula (STATE, CBSE, ICSE, ISC, IGCSE, IB) is highly desirable
- Proficiency in any of the offered Indian or foreign languages for language tutoring is an added advantage
- Strong technical skills, including familiarity with online teaching platforms or tools
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject or field
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience (online or in-person) is preferred
