Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Online Mentor specializing in Scratch programming, catering to students participating in UK shift hours. The Online Mentor will be responsible for conducting engaging, interactive online coding lessons, troubleshooting student queries, and tracking their progress. The mentor will also make learning enjoyable and help students cultivate a problem-solving mindset while ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Scratch programming and foundational programming concepts
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or facilitating online learning environments with young students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for fostering student engagement
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and platforms used for virtual classes
- Passion for education and patience when working with young learners
- Prior experience in coding education for children is a plus
- Availability to teach during UK time zones

8:30 pm to 1:30 AM
