Role Description The OET Freelancer will work full time on-site at RN Education Services in Kerala, India, providing specialized coaching and support to candidates preparing for the Occupational English Test (OET). Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering OET-focused lessons, evaluating learners’ language proficiency, and providing tailored feedback on speaking, writing, reading, and listening tasks. The role involves developing and updating practice materials, tracking learner progress, and maintaining accurate records of assessments and outcomes. The OET Freelancer will also collaborate with the counseling and academic teams to align language training with candidates’ professional and migration goals, and may participate in workshops, mock exams, and information sessions as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong English language skills with proven experience in teaching or training, ideally focused on OET, IELTS, or similar high-stakes exams.
- Ability to design, adapt, and deliver lesson plans and practice materials tailored to healthcare professionals and adult learners.
- Experience in assessing language skills, providing structured feedback, and using assessment data to improve learner outcomes.
- Comfort with classroom-based and one-to-one instruction, as well as basic digital tools for content sharing and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Nursing, or a related field; formal teaching or training certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with international education or healthcare migration pathways is a plus, along with an interest in ethical, student-centered guidance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, reliability in a full-time on-site setting, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
