We’re seeking enthusiastic Camp Counsellors for our summer camps at West Glen Junior School.
Your role involves leading skill groups, preparing engaging lessons, and fostering a positive atmosphere for campers ages 2 to 14. You will collaborate with other staff members to deliver memorable experiences while enhancing the athletic skills of our dynamic campers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead skill groups with tailored coaching instruction
• Ensure camper safety and well-being
• Prepare and execute sports lessons and drills
• Conduct weekly scouting reports for your skill group
• Lead large group games and ensure fun participation
Requirements:
• Must be 16 years old by December 31, 2026
• Attendance at mandatory staff training on June 20/21
• Strong ability to engage with children
• Willingness to follow camp policies and procedures
• Experience with sports instruction is a plus
