Position Title:
Faculty Member
– B.Sc. Optometry
Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated full-time faculty member for our
B.Sc. Optometry program, based on-site in Mathura. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and managing all academic and practical aspects related to the
B.Sc. Optometry curriculum.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting classroom and clinical teaching sessions.
Training students in comprehensive eye examinations.
Guiding students in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.
Providing instruction in primary eye care practices.
Special emphasis on the management and treatment of dry eye conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Optometry from a recognized institution.
Proven experience in teaching Optometry and conducting clinical eye examinations.
Background in Ophthalmology and Primary Eye Care teaching is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an academic team.
Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting will be considered an advantage.
