Model Behavior Monitor Jobs in Athens, Attiki, Greece at Alpine Business Consulting
Title: Model Behavior Monitor
Company: Alpine Business Consulting
Location: Athens, Attiki, Greece
About the role
Alpine Business Consulting specializes in repairing enterprise systems that have become overly complex, inaccurate, or difficult to manage. Our team works with finance and operations departments to fix broken reporting stacks and ensure that their data remains a single source of truth. As we integrate more automated logic and language models into these systems, the need for human oversight has grown. We are looking for a Model Behavior Monitor to join us on a part-time, contract basis.
This is a fully remote position that focuses on the practical side of system integrity. You will not be building the models themselves, but you will be the person who checks their work. In professional consulting, a small error in logic can lead to a massive error in a financial report. Your primary task is to identify when a system is hallucinating, providing incorrect data, or deviating from the clear documentation we provide our clients. Since this is an entry level role, we are looking for individuals who are logical, skeptical, and willing to learn how enterprise systems work in the real world.
What you will do
- Review and audit responses generated by internal and client facing models to ensure they adhere to provided facts.
- Flag inconsistencies in data formatting or logic that could confuse a human user.
- Compare model outputs against specific configuration guides to ensure the system is following our established rules.
- Document common failure points where models tend to lose accuracy, providing clear notes for our senior consultants to review.
- Help maintain the accuracy of our knowledge base by verifying that search results match the source documents.
- Assist in the creation of handover documentation by capturing screenshots and descriptions of how the system should behave under normal conditions.
- Monitor the tone and safety of model responses to ensure they remain professional and helpful.
- Participate in regular remote check-ins to discuss findings and help refine the testing process.
What we are looking for
- A high level of attention to the details of written and numerical data.
- The ability to follow complex sets of instructions without skipping steps.
- Strong writing skills, specifically the ability to explain a problem in plain language.
- Basic familiarity with spreadsheet software or common data structures.
- A healthy sense of skepticism, you should not assume the model is correct just because it sounds confident.
- Reliability and the ability to manage your own schedule within a remote environment.
- A background or interest in business, finance, or information systems is helpful but not required.
- Direct communication style, we value being honest about what is not working.
What working here looks like
Working at Alpine Business Consulting is different from the typical tech environment. We do not focus on hype or the latest industry buzzwords. Instead, we focus on configuration that lasts and systems that finance teams can rely on every morning. You will work alongside senior consultants who have years of experience with major platforms like Oracle and SAP. While this is an entry level role, you will see how professional services are delivered at a high standard.
Our culture is built on transparency. We tell our clients exactly what we are going to do, and then we do it. We expect the same clarity from our team. Because this role is fully remote, we rely heavily on written communication and clear documentation. You will have plenty of support, but you also have the space to work independently on your assigned tasks.
What the role offers
This position is paid, and the compensation is attractive for an entry level contract role in this market. We provide a flexible schedule that can fit around other commitments, provided you can meet your weekly hour targets and attend necessary remote meetings. You will gain exposure to how large companies manage their data and learn the foundations of enterprise performance management. We prioritize teaching our staff the right way to build and monitor systems, focusing on clean data and predictable results over quick fixes.
We believe in providing the training and guides our team needs to succeed. You will be given clear examples and templates for all your work. The goal of this role is to help us ensure that when we hand over a system to a client, it works exactly as promised. Your monitoring efforts are a vital part of that quality control process, helping us maintain our reputation for fixing what others could not.
