The Creating Center (TCC) is a vibrant, learner-centered international school and IB Candidate School, serving families from over 20 nationalities. We’re looking for a passionate STEAM Middle School Teacher to inspire creativity, innovation, and problem-solving through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.
You’ll:
• Teach engaging, real-world Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math projects.
• Integrate technology, robotics, coding, and design thinking into the classroom.
• Collaborate across subjects in our dynamic IB Middle Years Programme.
You have:
• A degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts or related field.
• Experience with middle school learners & project-based learning.
• Strong English skills (Spanish is a plus).

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Middle School Teacher role located in Pedasí or Buenaventura. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging STEAM lessons tailored for middle school students, planning curriculum, and ensuring clear learning objectives. The role includes fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback to support their academic and personal growth. Collaboration with colleagues, as well as effective communication with parents, is also essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design and deliver effective instructional materials
- Demonstrated expertise in Middle School education and skills relevant to teaching students in this age group
- Strong Teaching capabilities and the ability to adapt methods to suit diverse learning styles
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with students and parents
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related Science or Math field required
- Experience in an educational setting or similar roles is required
- Familiarity with internationally accredited curricula is a plus
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic learning environment
