DESCRIPTION: Metro Schools College Prep is seeking a passionate and dedicated middle school English Language Arts (ELA) teacher to join our team. As a public charter school, we are committed to providing our diverse student population with a high-quality education that prepares them for college and beyond. As a school, we work every day to improve our students’ chances to attend the college or university of their choice, and to help them become global citizens.
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, flexible, and be able to work collaboratively with the ELA team as well as with our ELL and Special Education departments. Our school serves a large number of English language learners and students from low income families. As such, we are looking for a teacher who is culturally responsive, holds high expectations for all students, and works hard to meet the unique needs of our students.
