Role Description The MERN Stack Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. The instructor will design and deliver structured training on MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, including lectures, live coding sessions, and project-based learning. Responsibilities include preparing curriculum and learning materials, conducting assessments, providing feedback, and mentoring learners to support their academic and career development. The role also involves staying current with industry trends, updating course content, and collaborating with the training team to continuously improve the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, with proven experience building full-stack applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in RESTful API development, JavaScript/TypeScript, Git-based version control, and integration of front-end and back-end services.
- Candidates should possess skills in curriculum design, lesson planning, and creating practical exercises or projects for beginner to advanced learners.
- Candidates should possess skills in classroom instruction, public speaking, and clear written and verbal communication for technical topics.
- Candidates should possess skills in mentoring, learner support, and providing constructive feedback to diverse groups of students.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior teaching, training, or coaching experience in software development or related disciplines is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, manage multiple batches or classes, and adapt to different learning styles.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices (e.g., npm/yarn, build tools, deployment workflows, basic DevOps concepts) is a plus.
