Position: MCLA Bridge Ambassador Summer Intern – Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts
Job Description:
The MCLA Bridge Ambassador is a student leader who wants to be a part of a team to plan and execute an engaging four day summer program for new Trailblazers (entering Fall 2026 students)! This role is ideal for students passionate about education, equity, and helping others achieve their goals. This position offers hands-on experience in leadership, administrative support, personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Support professional staff with the planning and coordinating of the summer Bridge program.
* Mentor as an ambassador incoming first year students by meeting one on one and small groups.
* Represent TRIO Student Support Services at campus events, recruitment activities, and public speaking engagements
* Assist with planning and facilitating workshops, trips, and leadership development sessions
* Support TRIO & other MCLA initiatives
* Create and share social media content to promote TRIO
* Provide excellent customer service and administrative support in the TRiO office

Additional Information
This is a non-benefit temporary position and pays $20.00 per hour up to 35 hours a week through the summer bridge program ending on August 28th.

Qualifications
* Current student in good academic and behavioral standing
* Passion for TRiO and supporting others reach their goals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other learning technology tools
Additional Information:
Until further notice, in response to the Presidential proclamation, issued on September 19, 2025, imposing a significant fee on the entry of individuals with new H-1B visas, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
This position is only open to current MCLA students.
