We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to start from ASAP/September/October in a highly regarded school, with opportunities available on a permanent, supply, or day-to-day basis.
Position details
Location: Caterham, Surrey
Year Group: KS3 / KS4 / (KS5 optional)
Salary: £34,397 – £52,489 per annum / £160 – £260 per day
Contract: Permanent / Supply / Day to Day
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 optional)
- Promote problem-solving, analytical thinking, and numeracy skills
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential
- Create a positive and focused learning environment
- Work collaboratively within a supportive Maths department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- ESSENTIAL – QTS or equivalent and experience teaching in a Secondary School
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to raising achievement and delivering high-quality lessons
