IDEAS International School is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our growing school community.
In this role, you will teach Mathematics across lower and upper secondary levels, helping students build strong foundations in numeracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. You will play a key role in making STEM subjects engaging, accessible, and relevant through real-world applications and inquiry-based learning.
We are looking for an educator who can inspire curiosity, explain complex concepts clearly, and create a classroom environment where students feel confident to explore ideas, ask questions, and persevere through challenges. The ability to support learning in ICT or Coding will be an added advantage as we continue to strengthen students’ digital literacy and readiness for the future.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics aligned with curriculum standards
- Design learning experiences that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and inquiry
- Use a variety of teaching strategies including practical investigations and collaborative learning
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and focused classroom environment
Student Development & Pastoral Care
- Serve as a form tutor, supporting students’ academic and personal growth
- Build strong relationships with students and promote a culture of respect
- Provide guidance and support for students facing challenges
School & Community Engagement
- Participate in school events, extracurricular programmes, and trips
- Supervise students during school activities and breaks
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission and value
Parent Partnership
- Communicate regularly with parents on student progress and wellbeing
- Share both achievements and areas for improvement in a timely manner
- Build strong, positive relationships between school and families
Professional Growth
- Actively engage in professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field
- Recognised teaching qualification or certification
- Experience teaching secondary Mathematics or Science
- Experience in ICT or Coding is an added advantage
