Role Description The Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging and rigorous mathematics instruction to school students, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and academic standards. Responsibilities include planning and conducting daily lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing student performance through assignments and tests, and providing regular feedback to support individual learning needs. The teacher will maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on academic planning and co-curricular activities. Additional duties include participating in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent–teacher interactions to support student progress. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hoshiarpur.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for school-level mathematics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience teaching mathematics at school level, preferably in CBSE or similar curricula.
- Ability to use age-appropriate teaching methods, educational technology, and assessment tools.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education, ethical conduct, and supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
Salary
INR15,000.00 – 22,000.00 per month
