Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Math Teacher role based in Dubai, focused on delivering the US curriculum. The Math Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with grade-level standards, using a variety of instructional strategies to support different learning needs. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and assessments, monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of achievement. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in school-wide initiatives, and communicating regularly with families about student learning. The teacher is expected to contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment and support students’ mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and academic success.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and experience teaching mathematics within a US curriculum framework.
- Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including the ability to design standards-based units and assessments.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher, with formal training in Mathematics Education or a closely related field.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education) and a recognized teaching certification or license.
- Experience teaching in international or multicultural school settings is an advantage.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and assessment.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching.
