our new Promise Academy, a year round school serving the clients at the
Idaho Youth Ranchs Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a
64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth,
currently under construction at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise
Campus in Idahos Treasure Valley.

Must Haves:
- Idaho teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements in
accordance to assignment (Math)
- Strong background in teaching methods, developmentally appropriate
classroom activities and effective classroom management.
- Strong background in curriculum and Idaho Core Standards
- Experience working with students with IEPs, 504s and/or resource
room needs
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of staff and
students
Responsibilities:
- Designs lessons with an appropriate level of difficulty that provide
content in a logical and sequential manner
- Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media, consistent
with the physical limitations of the classroom and the needs and
capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved
- Follows modifications and accommodations as specified in Individual
Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintains accurate and complete records as required by federal and
state law, administrative rules, and Board policy
As a year round Charter School, Promise Academy is a qualifying employer
for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers
student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions.
