Role Description The Math Teacher (British curriculum) will deliver engaging and structured mathematics lessons aligned with British educational standards for the assigned grade levels. Responsibilities include planning and implementing daily lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, assessing student progress through assignments and exams, and providing clear, constructive feedback. The teacher will maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behavior in line with school policies, and support diverse learning needs. Additional duties include participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, communicating regularly with parents and guardians, and engaging in professional development activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Al Bashaer International School in Qesm El Maadi.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and experience in Mathematics Education within the British curriculum framework.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design effective, standards-based learning experiences.
- Candidates should be a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching certification and proven classroom teaching experience.
- Candidates should possess excellent classroom management, communication, and student engagement skills.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees or specialized training in mathematics education are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess the ability to integrate educational technology, differentiate instruction, and work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership.
- Prior experience teaching in an international or British-style school
