Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Math Teacher role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Math Teacher will plan and deliver structured mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, providing feedback, and offering additional support to learners who need it. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in staff meetings, and contributing to school activities and initiatives. The Math Teacher is expected to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and use a variety of teaching strategies and tools to engage students.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach core concepts clearly and accurately.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design effective, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching certification or licensure.
- Previous classroom teaching experience, preferably at primary or secondary school level.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- Comfort with using educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and assessment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in math education.
