Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Math Educator role located in Hunters Creek, FL. The Math Educator will be responsible for instructing students in various mathematical concepts, designing individualized lesson plans, and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing academic support in areas of weakness, and collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure students' growth and success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mathematics instruction across multiple grade levels and an understanding of advanced math concepts
- Strong lesson planning, curriculum development, and instructional skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with families and other educators
- Adaptability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Experience working with students who require additional support in executive functioning and organizational skills is a plus
- Familiarity with educational technology and online learning tools is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; teaching certification preferred
