You're a middle-school math specialist with an eye for precision—someone who catches a flawed fraction three tabs before anyone else notices. You've worked directly with grades 4–8 through teaching or tutoring (or bring equivalent instinct and subject mastery), you craft feedback students can immediately apply, and you refuse to let "good enough" become part of what they're learning from.
We're developing an AI-driven math content platform that delivers questions, articles, and videos at volume, but we won't accept that volume means anything if the underlying math is incorrect or the teaching lacks clarity. The field chases "produce more." Our focus is "deliver better." Your role serves as the human checkpoint preventing thousands of learners from absorbing an AI's overconfident errors, vague explanations, or subtly compromised rigor.
This position centers on rigorous quality control of AI-generated middle school math materials: verifying correctness, logic, developmental alignment, and instructional design; identifying conceptual pitfalls, unclear language, and faulty reasoning; and generating precise, structured feedback that enables rapid remediation by another team. The work demands exactness, high standards, keen attention, and absolute intolerance for mathematically flawed or pedagogically damaging content slipping through.
You'll function as the final checkpoint in the content workflow before publication, evaluating material delivered through spreadsheets or internal tools and converting your analysis into actionable issue documentation. If you operate efficiently without sacrificing accuracy, flag problems without verbose explanations, and prioritize student learning over diplomatic language toward a machine, you belong here.
What You Will Be Doing
- Evaluating AI-generated math questions, articles, and videos to detect problems in mathematical correctness, academic rigor, pedagogical clarity, and developmental appropriateness, while delivering precise actionable feedback that allows another team to remediate the content before student exposure.

Basic Requirements
- You hold a university degree in Math Education (not solely Mathematics)
- You possess at least 4 years of experience teaching, tutoring, or developing EdTech curriculum with a focus on math for grades 3–8
- You are presently located in the US

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
