Enhance student success in literacy and numeracy as KOBE’s Elementary Services Manager. Guide First Nation schools with innovative leadership and educational support across Ontario.
In this role, you will directly supervise KOBE member schools, promoting professional development and sustaining high engagement in educational programs. Your work will involve collaboration with the KOBE Director of Education and community partners, ensuring the integration of culturally responsive teaching practices for improved student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop operational plans aligned with KOBE’s Strategic Plan
• Enhance delivery of second and third level educational services
• Implement culturally responsive pedagogical strategies
• Promote strong parent and community member relationships
• Supervise daily staff operations and adherence to policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in education or similar
• Ontario College of Teachers certification required
• Principal Qualifications Part 1 and 2 preferred
• At least 5 years in First Nations education
• Experience with culturally informed pedagogical approaches
