Summary:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in Social Studies to join our academic team in Tenali. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 4 years of experience delivering instruction within the CBSE curriculum.The TGT Social Studies Teacher will play a vital role in shaping students’ understanding of the world through engaging, inquiry-based learning that aligns with national educational standards and promotes lifelong curiosity.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic and curriculum-aligned Social Studies instruction for Grades 6–8 following the CBSE syllabus.
- Design and implement lesson plans, assessments, and interactive teaching resources that promote conceptual understanding and analytical skills.
- Monitor student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respectful dialogue and active participation.
- Integrate real-world contexts and interdisciplinary connections to enhance relevance and engagement in social sciences.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to refine teaching strategies, share best practices, and support curriculum development.
- Engage in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic planning sessions as required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field with a Post Graduate (PG) qualification (M.A. or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in the CBSE curriculum at the middle school level.
- Strong command of Social Studies content, including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
- Demonstrated ability to use diverse teaching methodologies to meet varied learning needs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for student development and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
