Fraser Lake Elementary Secondary School seeks a 1.0 limited duration Librarian from September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Qualified applicants should have a Bachelor of Education, a valid BC teaching certificate, and either a Master’s Degree in Library Science or enrollment in a diploma program. Key responsibilities will include collaborating on inquiry-based units, teaching information literacy, and integrating various resources to support curriculum enrichment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and teach inquiry-based lessons with classroom teachers
• Develop curricula that engage students and integrate new media
• Collaborate to reinforce literacy across all grades
• Manage library resources to foster independent learning
• Provide teaching relief as needed throughout the assignment
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education and valid BC teaching certificate
• Master’s Degree in Library Science or similar
• Minimum two years of teaching experience
