About The Opportunity

We are seeking educators with Mathematics expertise to teach in the Primary discipline.

Appointees will demonstrate a high level of connectivity between the education of pre-service teachers, their own teaching experiences, engagement with schooling/early childhood and industry sectors, and demonstrated research capability.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • PhD in a relevant discipline OR
  • Substantial progress towards a PhD and professional equivalency which would require demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the relevant discipline curriculum, national learning frameworks and the quality agenda with a research profile evidenced by publications (and demonstrated ability to teach at University level) AND
  • An established or emerging track record in quality research and outputs in Field of Research codes 13 or 39
  • Expertise, experience, and a strong pedagogical approach to education in the relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian external regulatory environment for Initial Teacher Education
