Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Kluang for an academic role at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, or Professor level in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Anatomy, Pathology, Paediatric, Clinical Skills. The candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, mentor students, and contribute to curriculum design and academic research within their discipline. Other duties include engaging in professional development activities, participating in university committees, and collaborating with colleagues on research and scholarly initiatives to enhance the academic excellence of the institution.
Qualifications
- Expertise in teaching, curriculum development, and innovative pedagogical methods
- Strong research capabilities, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals and securing external funding for academic projects
- Experience in mentoring students and providing academic and career guidance
- Proficiency in collaborative teamwork and fostering interdisciplinary research and academic partnerships
- Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant field and a track record of significant academic contribution
- Relevant teaching and/or research experience, with focus areas aligned to medical and healthcare sciences
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with both local and international academic standards is an advantage
